Homework and Grades

1st Grade Homework

In First Grade, your child will have nightly rereading of the story from their Reading Group to do. There will also be a weekly Spelling List that will be sent home on Fridays so your child can practice the words on the list. The Spelling test will be given on Friday mornings. If there is other homework, it will be sent home in the Homework section of your child's BEE Book, or Reading homework may be attached to the nightly reading slip.

2nd Grade Homework

Each week your child will receive their Spelling Packet on Monday. All work in the Packet must be done for homework and will be due on Friday of the same week.  The students should be studying for their final test throughout the week.  The final test will be given on Friday.  In Reading, your child will have nightly reading or rereading of the story from their books.  Any other homework will be sent home in the Homework section of the Bee Book.
